Rio's country side / Rio das serras

Rio de Janeiro is a sunny place almost all year round, but there are not only beaches to enjoy! Look the beautiful and inspiring images bellow to confirm what I’m saying! They show the Pousada Capim Limão, where I spent the New Year's holiday, a lovely and cozy inn, in Itaipava, only 1 hour and a half from the capital. The accommodations are comfortable, the food is delicious and there is a lot of green and calm surrounding the property! You can choose between staying in the property relaxing yourself or getting around for rides to profit the nature, buying handmade souvenirs or eating in good and fancy restaurants. It’s up to you!

I visited your site, it's great, full of information about Brazil and other countries.
I chose to focus only in my city in order to try to change its image for the better!

Oh,what a lovely place and it's so beautiful!! I believe you had a great new year and enjoyed it with your family.Just wanna know, what is the most famous food in Rio?

Vania Moreira said...

Hi Fazrul! Thank you! The New Year was great!
Our most famous food is "feijoada", made of black beans, pork meat, spices, slices of onions, garlic, all cooked and mixed up, served with rice, pices of orange, it's delicious! It's a little bit heavy, but very tasteful!
Cheers!
