2010 World Cup: let's root for Brazil! / Copa do Mundo 2010: vamos torcer pelo Brasil!

Tomorrow Brazil is going to play its first game in South Africa 2010 World Cup! Here, people are already rooting for it and decorating the streets with the colors of Brazilian’s flag! In Rio de Janeiro is a tradition, every World Cup we have a competition, with good prizes, to elect the most beautiful and well decorated street. We call the sport “football”, not “soccer”, and people are completely crazy about it, not only in international championships, but also in national ones! Because of this, almost everybody will stop doing everything tomorrow at 3:30 pm sharp to watch the game. I know, it’s a bit insane, as any other fanaticism, but that’s the way it is! So, as I cannot fight against it, I will have to stop everything only to watch the game, also because Brazil is trying to win the championship for the sixth time!!!

Thanks a lot Marty!!!
And this is before any game, imagine if Brazil wins today, wow!
But you know, I'm a little bit nervous about this game because Brazil is so favorite…ok, North Korea’s team is not as strong as ours, but as Brazilians say, football is a box of surprises!
