2010 FIFA Fest Fan

The FIFA Fan Fest is an event which allows people to watch the FIFA World Cup for free, in a sporting and happy atmosphere instead of watching the games at home. Started in 2006, during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, in Germany, it was a great success, leading the organization to expand it to include several cities worldwide for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, in South Africa. The locations are huge enough to fit many thousands of people, and have large and high definition television screems which broadcast the match live. In this 19^th edition of the FIFA World Cup, besides the nine South African cities, the following ones are also hosting FIFA Fan Fests: Berlin, Mexico City, Paris, Rome, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. O FIFA Fan Fest é um evento gratuito, que permite ao povo assistir os jogos da Copa do Mundo numa atmosfera esportiva e alegre, ao invés de ficar em casa. Começou em 2006, durante a Copa do Mundo da Alemanha, quando o seu enorme sucesso fez com que a organização do evento o expandisse para outras cidades ao redor do mundo, na Copa de 2010 na África do Sul. Todas as localidades escolhidas são bem grandes, podendo receber milhares de pessoas e contam com enormes telas de TV de alta definição, que transmitem os jogos ao vivo. Nessa 19ª edição da Copa do Mundo da FIFA, além das nove cidades da África do Sul, as seguintes também foram escolhidas para sediar o evento: Berlim, Cidade do México, Paris, Roma, Rio de Janeiro e Sidney.
