Following last year’s award-winning Made in China issue, Born in Brazil is dedicated in its entirety to the people, culture, and creative genius of Brazil. To accomplish this, the Wallpaper* team recently established operational HQ and luxurious quarters in Rio and São Paulo to produce the issue. From the discovery of massive off shore oil reserves to the awarding of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games, Brazil is on a serious roll and Wallpaper* wanted to be at the centre of the action. Three covers were created for this issue: one in São Paulo, another in Rio and the last one a limited edition cover, designed by artist Vik Muniz, which will be sent to subscribers. Also, see a hilarious video of a cute Brazilian baby dancing samba (don't forget to turn my ipod off)!
Seguindo a tendência da edição premiada do ano passado Made in China, Born in Brazil é inteiramente dedicada ao povo, à cultura e ao gênio criativo do brasileiro.
