Green and yellow: the Brazilian colors / verde e amarelo: as cores do Brasil

Nowadays, many touristic points in Brazil are illuminated by green and yellow lights, the traditional colors of the Brazilian football players’ uniforms, in order to celebrate the South Africa World Cup. In Rio de Janeiro, the Christ the Redeemer, the Sugar Loaf and the Maracanã Stadium are the most beautiful ones in these colors. The Eiffel Tour is also amazing, but it was not illuminated in green and yellow to pay homage to the Brazilian team after the France's disqualification, no, this picture was taken in 2005 to celebrate the Year of Brazil in France and as I liked the monument in “our” colors, I decided to post it here as well!

Yes Robert, I loved that either! You see, all the great monuments fit very well in green and yellow, ehehehe!!! I’m joking, but I really like these two colors and I liked even more to see that South Africa team has also the same colors.
