There’s a really cool place in Barra da Tijuca where you can refresh yourself and have fun: inside the Extra 24h Supermarket it has recently opened to the public the biggest ice rink in Brazil, the Barra on Ice, where you can rent the ice skates, helmets and kneepieces, have classes and also celebrate your birthday. The minimum age allowed for kids to enjoy the rink is five years old, but there are also lots of entertainment for the youngest ones - the kids' space - and even a baby care! While waiting for their kids, parents can go to the supermarket, have a drink & snack in the bar, rest in the lounge or buy some skating souvenirs in the kiosk.
